PLACEHOLDER
We’re very happy to announce today our first LP release! Placeholder, former known as Coastal, hails from the small towns and hills of the central Pennsylvania countrysides. These guys call Lancaster and Harrisburg their homes but they could really come from anywhere USA. With a penchant for melody and an undeniable ability to evoke real emotion, Placeholder is a great amalgamation of early 2000s pop-punk, and the edginess of 90’s emo and post-hardcore such as Texas is the Reason and Elliott.
In early 2011, Placeholder released their first output, Demonstration. Then in late 2011, Placeholder released Nothing is Pure, their first full length, on Olympia WA’s Better Days Records. Existing only as CD now, we’re extremely happy to announce our involvement in putting this thing on vinyl. We’re hammering out all the details now. But the pressing process will begin shortly along with streaming and pre-orders. We’ll keep you posted with all the details as they come along.
